I joined Central Co-op on a part time basis as previous employers had made me feel it wasn’t possible to work full time and be present in raising my 2 young children.

After joining Central Co-op and talking with my Line Manager about an opportunity to further my career and work more hours but still around my family commitments, I was promoted into Attraction and Recruitment Specialist here at Central Co-op.

I continually receive encouragement and support from all the team so that I can get a good balance of work and family life. Because of the hybrid ways of working and flexibility, I have yet to miss a play or school event and know that this is important to my Manager too.

Central Co-op really has changed my life and opened up doors that I thought were firmly locked.
