What will you be doing?

We take the security of our systems and data very seriously. With the ever-increasing threat of cybercrime, we must stay one step ahead of the game. It’s important that we think ‘Security’ in everything we do, whether its introducing new technology, guiding colleagues on best security practices or ensuring that we have the right controls in place to protect us.

As an IT Security Analyst, you’ll be working with various IT teams from Architecture to Delivery, as well as 3rd parties, to deliver a high standard of security for our IT systems and be a champion for IT security to our colleagues.

Regulations are an important part of security, so it’s helpful to be familiar with compliance standards. You will be responsible for maintaining IT Security Policies, Standards and Guidelines and ensuring that they are adhered to within the society. You’ll have autonomy in this role to shape and be actively involved in the implementation and maintenance of the IT security framework which covers all security matters including Anti-virus protection, Cyber Security, Information and Data Protection and PCI-DSS.

You’ll ensure risks are managed, communicated, and produce and review compliance audits to make sure issues are mitigated in future.

How will I know if I am right for this role?

Having a strong background in IT & Information Security is a must. You’ll demonstrate your understanding of and articulate the current security standards and best practices.

You will be working with colleagues from all areas of our business, so it’s important that you can communicate security effectively and adapt to your audience.

This role offers you the variety of looking after the day to day running of the IT Security Department, including dealing with Incidents and Requests, working on projects and new initiatives, vulnerability management, governance, risk and compliance.

Being passionate about improving performance and delivering results, teamwork, strong influencing and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Owning a Security Industry certification or working towards extending your knowledge in this area would be valuable.

In addition to our competitive salaries, our colleagues also benefit from:

  • Fantastic colleague discount- including a discount of up to 20% on our products.
